How brickwork estimating works: four simple steps
One email starts it. No sign-up, no portal and no onboarding call. You see the price before we do any work.
Email your drawings.
Send your package details and drawings to hello@masonrymeasured.co.uk. Include your tender return date. Files too big for email? Add a link from Dropbox, Google Drive, WeTransfer or similar.
We send you a quotation.
We review the pack and send a fixed quotation, based on your drawings and scope. It says what we’ll measure, what we’ve assumed and what’s excluded. Turnaround is agreed with your tender deadline in the quotation.
You approve.
Reply to accept the quotation. Payment terms are stated in the quotation. We start once you’ve said yes.
You receive your full take-off.
We measure the brickwork from your drawings and send clear, itemised take-off schedules, in a format agreed with you, by the deadline in your quotation. If the drawings don’t add up, we come back to you with a query.
What to put in your email
The more we have, the more accurate the quotation. Missing something? Send what you’ve got and tell us what’s outstanding. We’ll say so in the quotation.
- Drawings: plans, elevations, sections and details. PDF is best; other formats by agreement.
- Specification: brick and block types, mortar, lintels, DPCs and anything brickwork-related
- Schedules: doors and windows, lintels, finishes, house types or plots
- Bill of quantities, if there is one
- Tender return date and any return format your client wants
- Addenda and queries, if you have them

Got a brickwork package to price?
